From my earliest memories of family holidays to the Kruger Park and the enchantment of sitting around the campfire… to my treasured gift of a backpack when I finished school and set out from South Africa to hitchhike across Europe…. to overland adventures on dusty tracks in Africa with my three sons in the back seat…. I have always been captivated by travel.

There is a wanderlust in me, and I journey at every opportunity, always with a quest for authenticity and deep connection, and an aversion to the superficial experience of tourism.

My soul lies in Africa. I am complete when I am immersed in the colours, textures and fragrances of Africa.
